Powercom IL Privacy Policy
Effective Date: August 4, 2026
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to the Powercom IL mobile application (the “App”), provided and technically maintained by Powercom Ltd. (“Powercom,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
The App enables authorized customers of participating electricity service providers to securely view information relating to their electricity consumption.
This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, processed, stored, and protected in connection with the App.
2. Roles of Powercom and the Electricity Service Provider
The relevant electricity service provider is responsible for:
- establishing and managing the customer’s electricity service account;
- collecting and maintaining customer and electricity-consumption data;
- creating user access credentials;
- deciding which customers may access the App;
- correcting, updating, retaining, or deleting customer records.
Powercom provides the App and the technical infrastructure through which authorized users can access information maintained by the electricity service provider.
The App is not the original source of the customer data displayed within it.
3. Account Registration and Access
The App does not offer public or self-service account registration.
Users cannot create an account through the App. Login credentials are created and provided separately by the relevant electricity service provider or another authorized organization.
Only users who have received valid credentials may access the App.
Requests concerning the creation, suspension, termination, or recovery of access credentials must be directed to the electricity service provider that issued them.
4. Information Available Through the App
After successful authentication, the App may display information associated with the user’s existing electricity service account, including:
- customer or account identifier;
- electricity meter identifier;
- electricity consumption information;
- meter readings;
- historical consumption data;
- dates and periods associated with consumption records;
- other information necessary to identify and present the relevant electricity-consumption records.
This information is collected and maintained by the relevant electricity service provider outside the App.
The App does not independently create customer records or collect customer information through registration forms.
5. Authentication Information
When a user signs in, the App processes authentication information in order to verify the user’s identity and provide access to the appropriate electricity-consumption data.
This information may include:

- maintain the user’s authenticated session;
- prevent unauthorized access;
- investigate security or access issues.
6. Remember Me Function
The App includes a Remember Me function.
When this function is enabled, authentication information may be stored locally on the user’s device so that the user does not need to enter the same information each time the App is opened.
Users are responsible for protecting access to their devices, particularly when the Remember Me function is enabled.
Locally stored App information can be removed by clearing the App’s storage through the device settings or by uninstalling the App.
7. Local Storage and Cache
The App may temporarily store electricity-consumption information and related account information in a local cache on the user’s device.
This local storage is used to:
- display previously retrieved information;
- improve loading performance;
- maintain the user’s session;
- support the normal operation of the App.
Cached information remains on the user’s device until it is overwritten, removed through the App or device settings, or deleted when the App is uninstalled.
Powercom recommends that users protect their devices with a password, PIN, biometric lock, or another available security measure.
